Susan comes to Dean Realty Co. from Hermes Landscaping, where she served as an administrative assistant for three-and-a-half years. There she was responsible for customer contacts, preparing presentations, proposal packets and purchase agreements, as well as tracking income for multiple divisions from both new and existing customers. Prior to Hermes, Susan held an administrative assistant position at Hallmark Cards for 14 years. As a team sales representative/trainer, she was jointly responsible for territories up to $3 million dollars with outside field representatives, selling both everyday and seasonal products. There she conducted training, prepared motivational presentations and developed contests. Her first position at Hallmark was administrative assistant to the sales vice president where she traveled, performed presentations, conducted seminars and maintained contact with Gold Crown retailers nationwide.
Susan attended University of Central Missouri and William Jewell College, focusing on psychology. In 2014 she graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri Kansas City with a bachelor of liberal arts degree.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys camping, float trips, gardening, and spending time with her cats. She spent a significant amount of time traveling to such places as Italy, France, Spain, Egypt and Libya in her youth, thanks to her father's positions at TWA.
