Robert Ybarra joined Dean Realty Co. in 2016 as a field services group technician. In this role, Robert became a member of the team responsible for maintaining Dean Realty Co.’s portfolio of over 2.3 million square feet of office, industrial, flex, mixed use, historic and underground properties, as well as build-to-suit land sites. The field services group is trained to be responsive, efficient and solutions-oriented, and his years of experience as plant manager of a large production facility is a definite asset. Robert exercises the same principles of exemplary customer service and attention to detail practiced by all Dean Realty Co. employees, placing our tenants’ needs first. He and the field services group further support community projects, as well as company objectives and events.
Prior to Dean Realty Co., Robert worked for 21 years as plant manager for Web Products, a filter assembly and distribution company that was once a Dean Realty Co. tenant. There he directly managed two supervisors and 24 direct and indirect employees. His responsibilities included establishing and implementing operational policies, planning daily production, and monitoring quality control of their filter products. Before Web Products, Robert was co-owner of a medical equipment company, serving in sales and service roles, as well as performing accounting and inventory control functions.
Along with extensive experience running large and small operations, Robert has basic training in electrical, plumbing, management and human resource functions. Affiliations include service as a Legionnaire at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1999.
In his spare time, Robert enjoys spending time with his four boys and two grandchildren. His hobbies include fishing and canoeing, as well as watching Royals and Chiefs games.
