Amy Fitzpatrick joined Dean Realty Co. in February of 2016, reporting directly to the company's executive assistant and office manager. In this role, Amy is responsible for ensuring a welcoming first impression of the company's customer service in her handling of phone calls and greeting visitors. Amy further supports the leasing managers with production of the company's office, industrial and underground leases, including parking, SmartSTORAGE and Space on Demand. She produces reports distributed to many departments throughout the company. Amy supports the president's office through duties assigned by the executive assistant, providing important coverage as needed. She keeps the office stocked with supplies, distributes the mail and manages incoming and outgoing deliveries. She further provides assistance on overflow projects for several department managers, including marketing, project management and construction. Her tasks take advantage of her strong organizational and Microsoft Office skills.
Amy has significant administrative experience, having served in various roles since 1995. Amy comes to Dean Realty from Exel, where she performed duties to include detailed reporting, invoicing, payroll and executive support. Her previous experience includes positions as office manager and human resources liaison, administrative specialist and office assistant. She attended Benedictine College, eventually earning a degree in accounting from Northeast Kansas Vocational School. She is a member of the Elks Lodge #647 in Atchison, Kansas.
In her spare time, Amy cheers on the Jayhawks, attends Royals, Chiefs and Sporting KC games, and watches NASCAR and UFC. She further enjoys spending time with her family and granddaughter, as well as summertime at the lake with friends.
